Front Page 2003 is a most important project for me The genealogical society to
which I belong has a WEB site which needs to be maintained,
JGSPBCI Home. Up until now it has been created in Microsoft
Publisher. Our Web Master will be switching shortly to Front Page 2003.
As board member and Public Relations Director for the society, I have been responsible for all the editorial content of the pages (over 32 at this point and constantly growing), and have final say on the layout and graphics.
The picture above is one I took two weeks ago at our September meeting. I plan to send this to our Web master for inclusion on our Calendar/Program Page.
Our Web Master would like me to be able to work on the layouts and the uploading of material so that I can make necessary changes or updates if she is not available.
Quite frankly, designing a Web site has always freaked me out. I have tried to build personal pages several times, but have given up. This time I am determined to learn how to build and maintain a Web site. So far, even though it hasn't been easy for me, I am getting a feel for the program. The very detailed instructions have been immeasurably helpful--I couldn't have gotten this far without Sonja's and Peter's support.
